A new year?

As it’s all over the Internet and on Calendar, it’s the first day of the year. The last and the first days of a year have always been over hyped, for obvious reasons. People take it in their own way, after a few good days, we’re all back to the same garden where we play on Climbers, Merry-go-round and the same Slides, just differently. Also it’s totally okay if you don’t do it differently; if you continue with your own tune like the last year. It’s okay.

As time goes by, I find little difficulty with ageing. No, I am not feeling like I’m 90, I’ve still many more decades to go up there. I find that the teenage isn’t over when you turn 20. Little pieces of it still remain while you turn 22 or 25 or 46 for that matter. For example, characteristics. But the wisdom generating inside you as you go on collecting experiences, it’s quite something. The way you meet people and the kind of people you want to keep and those you choose to let go of, it changes. It changes for the good. We had this unknown teacher who once said that whatever happens, happens for good. Generations followed this theory and taught their descendants and here we are, totally convinced that we’ll always end up achieving the good.

So what happens with the bad? If we don’t receive it in the end, who does? Is there another world that gets what we delegate? Which is that world? Do we know it? Have we passed it by now and then or worse than that, does it reside in us?

I think it does. It’s not evil. It makes you strong. Fragile, sometimes. But more capable. Let’s not take the same slides. Let’s not walk around emotionally in circles with a Merry-go-round. Let’s take the swing. Let’s be our own back-end support and let’s push ourselves farther, higher; to reach one fine place. Not a goal, but just a place, with pure winds surrounding our shoulders and minds and feet. Let’s breathe. Free. Let’s ease ourselves. Let’s slacken more. We’re here, we are the now we always waited for. Let’s take the swing.
